NORTHERNSTAR
NATURAL GAS TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING & TOUR OF
BRADWOOD SITE
The Oregon Department of Energy will be holding a public information
meeting May 19th regarding the proposed NorthernStar Natural Gas
receiving, storage and send-out facility in Clatsop County, Oregon.
The purpose of the meeting is to gather public comment on the LNG
facility and explain how the public can participate in the Siting
Council process.
The public meeting will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 19 at the Knappa
High School gym, 41535 Old Highway 30, in Astoria, Oregon. NorthernStar will hold an open house at the same location from 5:30 p.m.
to 7 p.m.
Further, NorthernStar Natural Gas officials
will host a public tour of the Bradwood site the prior Saturday,
May 14th from 10:00
a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Directions and details about the tour opportunity
will be available on the company website. All interested
parties are welcome and encouraged to attend.
